CloverLick Banjos are made using top grade woods, parts, my own handmade tone rings and brass hardware. Our business focus is exclusively building oldtime openback style banjos. The brass hardware has become so much in demand that I will be building that most of the time.
Our CloverLick line of banjos are made one at a time and are truly handcrafted instruments. We make a variety of instrument configurations and always have someting new. All banjos which are available are pictured in our STORE page on the link to left.
Be sure to look at our models and options. Our handmade rims, necks, tonerings, and hardware instill a unique spirit and playability into our instruments.
The work I am doing is my passion - to deliver better performance and sound to my banjo playing clients. It would be a pleasure to build or repair a banjo for you.
Our philosophy:
1. Be persistent in delivering quality;
2. Procure only the best materials & parts;
3. Offer unique items that are not readily available elsewhere;
4. Say what we do, do what we say, walk the walk and not just talk the talk.

At CloverLick we are making an effort to build our banjos with minimal environmental impact. This is accomplished by using woods that are not encroaching rainforests, readily available, and renewable. We also use hand rubbed oil finishes which use little solvents and hazardous chemicals. Much final detail and sanding is done with scrapers and draw blades. I am sure you will be pleased with these efforts and I am confident you will not notice any compromises in our fine quality banjos.
