ABOUT US

The Cloverlick Banjo Shop Family shares a passion for banjos and community. One day they decided to follow their shared dream of opening a banjo shop. It seemed crazy at the time, but fate, hard work and good fortune have now delivered the opportunity to introduce a well-respected, old-time banjo shop to a new generation of players and artists.

Each banjo is made by hand under the skilled eye of master luthier Mark “Rooster” Austin. We take pride in every careful detail, every chisel stroke, every move with a rasp, to create these heirloom instruments that are true works of art. Made by hand with love in Ft. Collins, CO est. 2001.

STEWARDSHIP

We care deeply about the environment and stewardship of the land upon which we call home. In order to follow our passion as craftsmen who utilize raw materials provided by the earth, we want to make sure that it is done so in the most sustainable way possible. Our shop is built with repurposed materials, Low impact LED lighting/skylights, and working towards off grid solar.

We are proud members of the SUSTAIN GREEN ROSTER.

Butterfly Alley

This is a Metamorphosis project that we are doing to change perceptions of our alley and provide a lush environment for migrating butterflies and local honey bees. We have been honored to receive donations from Mountain Lion Garden Supply and Turtle Island Ecology Center for our first 12ft x 41/2ft box for flowers. Box was painted by artist local artist Mike McPuff.

We are working to create a way of educating through community action and support. Please join our movement and volunteer. Contact us if you are interested!
